Candidates will take test on Saturday, December 10
The City of Bridgeport Civil Service Commission today announced that the entry-level firefighter exam application deadline and test date have been extended.
The Commission will now accept applications until Friday, November 18, 2011 at 5 p.m. An orientation session for candidates who apply to take the exam will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011.
The new date for the entry-level firefighter examination #2306 is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, December 10, 2011.
“We have received an excellent response and extending the exam date will allow applicants extra time to prepare and finish their applications in time to take the exam,” said David J. Dunn, Personnel Director.
