Acting School Chief: Build New Schools Before Closing Old Ones

From Richard Chumney, CT Post:

Acting Superintendent of Schools Royce Avery believes the school system must first secure the funding and construct new school buildings before it moves forward with a proposal to shutter several old facilities.

A recently completed study found the district’s aging buildings will need $702.5 million in upgrades over the next decade and recommends closing seven aging schools to save money on costly repairs.

But Avery said during a community forum Tuesday that the schools should stay open until new buildings have been erected to replace them — a process he noted could take three to four years to complete.

“We can’t close buildings until we get new facilities,” Avery said. “So until that happens we’re not even going to talk about school closures because we have nowhere to put the kids.”

  1. Jesus, people, what is the DOE the Mild-East of America?

That, treat of “unwind” didn’t last long.

John, you’re an Yale informed, education, coded/decode man. Do you make sense of this?/ Linda McMahon words don’t add up on their face value.

If the DOE don’t have a say in the actual education of,[One Child (Coded words Perhaps)] and it doesn’t establish the education curriculum in any state., and the main purpose of the DOE is its funding, which is marginal at best on the total funding of education. Most over 90% of it comes from the states themself. What the F are we talking about?

To be fair, she also stated though the DOE Funding has a lot of red tape and strings attached Governors, state superintendents of Education have said look if we have the funding come with less red tape and strings attached we can improve the quality of education being produced. It is the cause for the current state of or failed education and holding our education system down.

However, she also stated some states were able be created in their teaching that had improved the quality of education under the current DOE, considerably, citing NAEP testing.

So again what the F are we talking about. 🙂

If the funding is staying, though spread through more bureaucracy, various federal governmental departments, and the an attachment like testing of achievement/progress by the abolishment of the DOE. This words don’t add up people, on there face value.

    A) if some states are able to increase/improve there education, base on the NAEP tests, with the red tape and strings attach by the DOE. It is conceivable every state can improver their failed education system. unless the red tape and strings differ by state. No?

    B) I would seem one of those attachment is the strings of test the effectiveness of the education being provided by the elimination of the DOE

    C) Since, the funding the DOE provides is not being eliminated, but being transferred to be service in other other federal departments as a means of being more efficient than a single DOE? Chainsaw DOGE, where you at. 🙂

    D) No mention of if those attachments and strings will follow the funding, or mention what those attachment and restrictions are, it that can be looked at within the DOE. Not to mention by her own admission, clearly state school districts create a non failing school districts with a DOE and it so call red tape and strings follow it meager funding?

IDK, people this bull shit is not adding up, well on the face value of the words.

Perhaps, there some coded/side/shit going on here people.
