Today, the Bridgeport Police Department is asking the public for any information regarding a homicide that was caught on video. To view the video, click here.
On September 29, 2015 at 8:25 p.m., police officers responded to calls regarding shots fired in the area of Madison Ave. and Frank St. Upon arrival, police officers found a 17-year-old black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital by ambulance. At the hospital, the victim was pronounced dead, and the incident was confirmed as a homicide. The initial investigation indicates that three shooters fled the scene of the crime. The victim was walking to the back of a house near the corner of Madison Ave. and Frank St. when three suspects shot at him. Police officers and detectives are actively investigating several leads.
