WHY: Bridgeport Child Advocacy Coalition encourages action on key legislative issues for children every year. This year’s discussion will focus on major topics in education, health care and state-funded services for low-income families.

This annual forum is an opportunity for area legislators to report on the outlook at the state level and discuss what they will do to support Bridgeport’s children and families. It is also a time for community members to demonstrate their support for the critical issues affecting children and families.

  1. *** Does anyone on these so-called boards have any kin children enrolled in the Bpt school system? Let’s hope a discussion is also held on how much money the Bpt schools system mismanages throughout the fiscal year, only to have BCAC complaining @ budget time about not enough books for kids! *** Back to Basics ***
