Returning Home, Blissful Views At The August, Steelpointe Harbor

View from waterfront workspace at The August.

I haven’t been Numero Uno at much of anything.

Wednesday was move-in day for me at The August, the housing phase of the Steelpointe Harbor redevelopment area, where the East End and Downtown come together. I was first to report on day one for the first wave greeting the inaugural residents. Several others were right behind me.

The August concierge professionals Jasmin, rear, and Kim, greet me as I enter new digs.

Workspace view of the swimming pool. Regional headquarters of M&T Bank in the distance.

Greeted by in-take pros Jasmin and Kim, the welcome bag was loaded with tasty treats including discount cards to local restaurants. Bass Pro Shops, across the street, came in handy for apartment accoutrements.

Workspace view. In the distance the city’s amphitheater and arena.

At times like these, priorities. Get all the crap into the apartment and sort it out later. I headed straight to the second-floor workspace, an inviting cross section of offices, cubicles, booths, even a library, overlooking the harbor and swimming pool.

This is the place to grab your laptop, refreshment and chill to the views.

Who wants ahbeetz? Open-air pizza oven in courtyard. Blue pickleball court in distance.

Another workspace view takes in the boardwalk and outdoor area of Boca Oyster Bar.

So, it’s good to be home!
