M&T Bank is offering Spanish speaking financial literacy programs in partnership with the Alliance for Community Empowerment in Bridgeport. The bank will be covering several topics including:
- Basics of the U.S. Banking System
- Understanding U.S. Taxes
- Budgeting & Spending
- Credit Building & Management
- Mortgages for first-time homebuyers
- Planning for Higher Education
- Business Banking

- How to handle fraud, etc.
The bilingual financial education sessions will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Beardsley Branch Library branch, 2536 East Main St., Bridgeport CT on the following dates, culminating in a graduation certificate ceremony on November 20th.
