Board of Education member Joe Sokolovic, up for reelection this year, was joined by peer Willie Medina and members of the Bridgeport Generation Now civic group Wednesday morning to protest Governor Ned Lamont’s funding of city schools as teachers and staff filed into the amphitheater for the school-opening convocation.
Lamont was one of the speakers.
