The municipal legal department has hired national employment law firm Jackson Lewis to probe unspecified allegations against Deputy Police Chief James Baraja.
“The number and nature of the complaints require a detailed investigation by professionals possessing a full understanding of the law,” Deputy Bridgeport City Attorney John Bohannon said in a brief interview Wednesday about the decision to engage New York City-based Jackson Lewis.
