The PRPFC is excited to announce that the pageant finals will be held on June 8 at Harding High School. The event will start at 3:00 PM, with doors opening at 2:30 PM. We encourage everyone to come out and support all the contestants as they showcase their talents and compete for the title. We look forward to seeing you there!
Also, the vibrant and colorful Puerto Rican Parade and Festival is set to take place on Sunday, July 14, 2024, starting at 11:00 a.m. The festival will kick off sharply at 1:00 p.m. at the Seaside Beach bandshell in Bridgeport, CT, promising a day filled with cultural celebrations, music, and delicious food.
Prior to the festival, a special flag raising ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at City Hall, located at 45 Lyon Terrace, Bridgeport, CT. This ceremony will serve as a symbolic start to the festivities, honoring the rich heritage and traditions of the Puerto Rican community. This year’s Gala will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Trumbull, Marriott – Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.
The Puerto Rican Parade and Festival is a beloved annual event that brings together people of all backgrounds to celebrate Puerto Rican culture and heritage. Attendees can look forward to lively music, traditional dances, authentic cuisine, and a variety of family-friendly activities throughout the day.
