City officials on Friday unveiled a portrait of Margaret Morton, the first black woman elected to the Connecticut legislature, in celebration of Black History Month. The Margaret E. Morton Government Center on Broad Street that houses many municipal departments including the mayor’s office is named for her.

I have one more comment. Like I said before,we need more Margaret Morton(s). I came across this headline from 2018 which just happened. The ages are disappointing but not surprising.

I have one more comment. It’s about Joe Ganim. However,in honor of Margaret Morton,I will not besmirch her memory with political opine.
There have been two postings about Margaret Morton but the response has been “tepid.” Disappointing.
