  1. And there is public speaking where I will be discussing three minutes worth of issues rather than the preCOVID five minutes offered to the public. Assuming the reduction in time allotted tp actual speakers was to provide more public opportunities, the assumption that every meeting would have 10 speakers rather than the previous maximum six has been wrong. If anything the number of speakers overall seems reduced. And attention by Council members to listen to voices other than their own is equally hard to see.
Did OIB report on the two young men swarmed over by members of the gang task force with at least one gun drawn that operates with no body cameras to maintain their status as officers in plainclothes and not detectives? No guns or drugs found. Any apology?
And two more gun deaths on Main St, a mere stroll from the PD and City Halls of an alleged illegal after hours watering hole? How long can PD problems persist with the silence at the top persisting from City Hall, Attorney Office, Police Commission and business community? Where does any of this fit into the shutting down by transfer, attrition, and funding to anything that can be termed community policing? Facts are speaking if high compensated City officials are not. Time will tell.
