The Cover Girls Among Headliners For Puerto Rican Festival Sunday At Seaside Park

Puerto Ricans party with flourishing energy! The annual Puerto Rican Day Parade & Festival of Fairfield County grows each year. Bridgeport enjoys the largest Puerto Rican population in Connecticut.

The Cover Girls (Wishing On A Star) will light up Seaside Park on Sunday among the celebratory entertainment.

The parade will kick off Sunday, 11 a.m. at Central High School, to Lincoln Boulevard and then south onto Park Avenue into Seaside.

The vibrant and colorful Puerto Rican Parade and Festival is set to take place on Sunday, July 13, 2025, starting at 11:00 a.m. The festival will kick off sharply at 1:00 p.m. at the Seaside Beach bandshell in Bridgeport, CT, promising a day filled with cultural celebrations, music, and delicious food.

Prior to the festival, a special flag raising ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at City Hall, located at 45 Lyon Terrace, Bridgeport, CT. This ceremony will serve as a symbolic start to the festivities, honoring the rich heritage and traditions of the Puerto Rican community.

The Puerto Rican Parade and Festival is a beloved annual event that brings together people of all backgrounds to celebrate Puerto Rican culture and heritage. Attendees can look forward to lively music, traditional dances, authentic cuisine, and a variety of family-friendly activities throughout the day. This year’s festival promises an unforgettable celebration of Puerto Rican culture, music, and community. We’re thrilled to welcome an incredible lineup of entertainment, including freestyle legends The Cover Girls, the electrifying sounds of Conjunto Imagen, the high-energy fusion of Funk Salsa Urban, and the rhythmic vibes of Agua Pa’Chocolate.
