Hurting In New Jersey, Christie Tries Comforting Foley In Connecticut

Sagging in the polls in his home state of New Jersey, Governor Chris Christie stumped in neighboring Trumbull on Monday on behalf of Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Foley who slipped in the latest PPP survey in Connecticut against incumbent Democrat Dan Malloy.

Gov. Chris Christie made another campaign stop to nearby Connecticut today and declared that in electing a GOP gubernatorial hopeful in November there will be a “new era for hope and opportunity” for Connecticut residents.

Christie, chairman of the Republicans Governors Association, made his third trip to the state today to campaign with Republican nominee Tom Foley.

“Our best race in New England is right here in Connecticut,” Christie said outside a GOP field office in Trumbull with Foley by his side.

    President Obama and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s unlikely “bromance,” sparked last fall amid a natural disaster and a presidential campaign, blossomed into full flush Tuesday on their very public second date.

    Now this is the same Chris Christie who has a “bromance” with President Obama who is backing Malloy?
