Public Financing Chief: We’re Getting Bombarded

More than $30 million in public dough will be awarded to state candidates who qualify for Connecticut’s Citizens Election Program. The man in charge of the state agency that oversees the program tells Neil Vigdor of the Hartford Courant that the task of responding to applications is overwhelming and record-breaking.
